Mozzarella Firefox

images1.jpg

A few nights ago the Prince and I are sitting on the couch. He’s playing with his laptop (yes he has his own laptop) and he’s getting frustrated. Finally he says:

“Momma my Mozzarella isn’t working!”

Say what? I replied trying to figure out what in the world he’s talking about.

“My Mozzarella! I can’t get to my starwars game!”

I look at his laptop and what he’s talking about is Mozilla’s Firefox.  I tell him – Honey it’s Mozilla, there’s no R in it; it’s not a piece of cheese.

To which he replies – “Why not, you use a mouse to get to it!”

The End is Near..Ok..

We are watching the movie “2012”..don’t ask me why. There is a scene where the Pope and his Bishops are on their knees in the Vatican praying as the world is coming to an end. Now I won’t go into the movie implying this gathering is inside Vatican City in Saint Peter’s Basilica and under the dome; with no sign of the altar with Bernini’s baldacchino (the black columned altar); and I won’t point out that these men of faith look up to see Michelangelo’s painting of God touching Adam’s finger which is actually in a totally different building know as the Sistine Chapel….But I digress.

images2.jpg

The dome above the Pontiff & his Bishop’s starts to crack, right between the fingers of God and Adam.
As the ceiling begins to fall, our little Prince says:
“Well I guess they can stop praying now”.

2011 NFL Week 12 – Results

Woohoo it was a GREAT week here! Only game I lost was TB @ Ten and I’m ok with losing that pick since the Titans are one of my teams! That gives me 112 games for the year and 64 losses. Not to shabby so far!

NFL Week 12

No real surprises last week. Sucked as usual for Panthers, Titan and DC fans. I don’t know what Kansas did to deserve the beating they got, but they took it better than Indy has.

Here’s my take this week:

There are no good bets this week.

E.W.

Looking the spreadsheet, my gambling average would be great if all the games today end tied 0-0. I wonder if someone would give odds on that happening…

How the Draft Deals With Natural Disasters or At Least It Wasn’t Godzilla

You are President Jones. And as a president, when a natural disaster strikes you’re expected to do something about it. Generally that means fly over to where ever it happened and look at it while the news people film you looking at it. Of course that’s about as useful as your buddy looking at the new six inch long gash in your forehead and going, “Ow, that looks bad.”

Thus Operation Hot Tub was born and so there you are, sitting in your cabin in the Mile High Club, sipping Jack Daniels. Your Japanese language coach, code named Pai Mei, (Hell that actually might be his real name, you just don’t know) is schooling you on the finer points of Japanese night life. He is particularly annoyed that you are fixated on the idea of spending some quality time with a geisha. He insists you won’t and you insist on at least making an effort.

“Anata wa sushi no yona aji nodarou ka.” You say to him. Continue reading

2011 NFL Week 12 – Picks

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Not to many toss ups this week. The Prince is pretty much sticking to his Animal method with a few exceptions. Even he knows the Lions can’t beat the Packers. I think one of the biggest unknowns this week is down in New Orleans. That game could go either way, but the Saints have not lost a single game at home. So we’re giving them the advantage. New England and Philly is the other unknown game. I honestly flipped a coin. The kid is going for his team the Eagles to win. We’ll see how we do with that.

So here’s our picks for Week 12!

2011 NFL Week 11 – Results

We appear to have recovered from our terrible picks. And the little Prince actually won the family pool with only 2 losses. Imagine that. Picking the “animal” team actually worked out for him this week.

As for Mom..how in the world did Miami beat Buffalo? I really expected Dallas to win against my Redskins, but you have to go with loyalty.  Same reason I picked the Titans to win. I think for week 12 however, that might need to change. There’s something about an 8 year old making better picks that simply brings out the competitiveness of his Mom and Dad. Anyway, here are our weekly results:

From basic metaphysical models, the reader learns about the anatomy of the Soul and how it is connected to the Spirit and the Divine Universal Energy.

Answers are provided for important questions: Of what is the Soul made? How does it learn? Where are those memories kept within the Spiritual Being? How does the Soul connect through energy to the physical body, other spirits, and the Greater Divine Consciousness within the Universe? Through this learning process, individuals can walk through every moment of the day with a sense of higher purpose, greater connection to their spiritual mission, and with insight to meet their personal and spiritual goals. .

NFL Week 11

Anybody know what happened to the Panthers? The Queen has a theory on bye weeks being bad for the team, says they come back rusty cause they haven’t played a real game in two weeks. She may be on to something.

If I was coach I’d fix this, “bye week” would be words of dread among my team, they would all whisper things like, “I hate bye week, I wish we were going to be playin’.”

Here’s my take this week:

Ok what did poor old Kansas City do to deserve a Monday night whoopin’ like this? I bet they wish it was just going to be the Spanish Inquisition.
