Rail Work

We’ve been watching the CSX crews prepare for maintenance work on the rails.  The question is, which side of the tracks are they getting ready to replace?

Here in Ashland you can see the trains coming for a mile or more. It’s honestly a wonderful view. Even far off in the distance you can hear the train blow its horn and announce it’s coming.

Rail Replacement

We missed seeing the tracks being delivered. But they definitely look odd lying curved between the existing tracks. I hope we’re able to see them being installed.
